G.A.R. AKA Gotti Mirano – “LeatherBand” [MUSIC VIDEO]

G.A.R. aka Gotti Mirano is an artist with over 6 years experience as a professional musician with over 1 million plays on Spotify and 4 projects available to stream. His music has charted #6 internationally and #3 domestic on Spotify Top 50 Viral.

He refers to himself as a living contradiction as he is a Mexican Jew constantly breaking barriers within himself and his community.

G.A.R is originally from Mexico but relocated to Dallas, Texas for family support where he mastered the English language just within 6 months and later discovered his ear and voice for music through recreation.

He eventually grew to love and respect the art of music and connected with Tune Tank Records to hone his music career.

G.A.R now has over 50k followers on Shazam and has music videos for his tracks, “LeatherBand”, “Metro (Be Boomin)” & “Wicked Shame” with views totaling over 300k.

G.A.R is now set to release his fifth project this week titled, ‘Don Gotti’.

The album title is inspired from his birth name, Gary which in Spanish means “Gotti” and “Don” which in Spanish means coming to age as a man.

G.A.R has since been mentioned in major publications such as the New York Times, Huffington Post, and The Associated Press.

He is set to go on a 3 city tour with former Quality Control artist, Skippa Da Flippa throughout Colorado (Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, & Denver) mid-September and a college tour soon after.

Co-Owner at Femcee
I am a Music Manager, Digital Content Blogger, Publicist, Radio Personality, and believer of God. I took a leap of faith in 2013 and moved to Atlanta after graduating from Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio) with a degree in Public Relations & Business Management. I connected with the Coalition DJs of Atlanta my first week of being in ATL and eventually began interning with the brand. My daily responsibilities included going from a minimum of 4 main clubs each night ensuring that priority records were being played while helping build and maintain consumer relations. During this time, I also worked as an assistant for several producers such as Dun Deal, Sonny Digital and other musicians. Working in such untraditional work environments taught me self-discipline and time management. While building my name and brand, I taught myself how to shoot and edit videos, and build websites. Now I partner with several major blog sites to offer exclusive content written and conducted by myself. I have a Youtube interview series called The Progress Report where I speak to artists, producers, and tastemakers about music, life, and entrepreneurship. I also have a weekly live interview podcast at Highly Unique Radio also called The Progress Report with an all female cast aimed towards giving exposure to entrepreneurs and independent artists. The latest person we interviewed was Orlando Brown, needless to say it was a very entertaining show. I am also the co-owner of Femcee.net which is the all-purpose platform dedicated to servicing and empowering womanhood through digital networking. (www.Femcee.net) I pride myself on loyalty and my work ethic and ongoing commitment to bettering everyone around me from clients to peers while I learn from them. I eventually wish to start a non-profit organization to empower young women teaching them how to be their own bosses. Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Snapchat & Facebook @LalaaShep
