DJ MLK is most known for his ‘Goodnight Doesn’t Exist In ATL’ mixtape series and being Hustle Gang’s & T.I.’ s official DJ. He moved to Atlanta, GA as a teenager after realizing there was money to be made in the music & entertainment industry. He credits Black Bill Gates & DJ Scream for paving the way for him as an entrepreneur and Big Bank Black as the first artist to give him his first real check.
After gaining valuable contacts such as Jeezy, Rocko, & Trey Songz, MLK received the opportunity to be a road DJ for T.I. DJ MLK recalls starting from the bottom passing out flyers for Grand Hustle prior to earning a respectable position. With years of hard work and dedication, DJ MLK & T.I. built an unbreakable bond. MLK also credits T.I. as being a man of his word and a loyal friend.

The following two tabs change content below.
I am a Music Manager, Digital Content Blogger, Publicist, Radio Personality, and believer of God.
I took a leap of faith in 2013 and moved to Atlanta after graduating from Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio) with a degree in Public Relations & Business Management. I connected with the Coalition DJs of Atlanta my first week of being in ATL and eventually began interning with the brand. My daily responsibilities included going from a minimum of 4 main clubs each night ensuring that priority records were being played while helping build and maintain consumer relations.
During this time, I also worked as an assistant for several producers such as Dun Deal, Sonny Digital and other musicians.
Working in such untraditional work environments taught me self-discipline and time management.
While building my name and brand, I taught myself how to shoot and edit videos, and build websites. Now I partner with several major blog sites to offer exclusive content written and conducted by myself.
I have a Youtube interview series called The Progress Report where I speak to artists, producers, and tastemakers about music, life, and entrepreneurship.
I also have a weekly live interview podcast at Highly Unique Radio also called The Progress Report with an all female cast aimed towards giving exposure to entrepreneurs and independent artists. The latest person we interviewed was Orlando Brown, needless to say it was a very entertaining show.
I am also the co-owner of Femcee.net which is the all-purpose platform dedicated to servicing and empowering womanhood through digital networking. (www.Femcee.net)
I pride myself on loyalty and my work ethic and ongoing commitment to bettering everyone around me from clients to peers while I learn from them.
I eventually wish to start a non-profit organization to empower young women teaching them how to be their own bosses.
